- K = 1 in the first population census.
- K = 2 in the second population census. The difference between them is the overall increase in population between the two censuses.
- Walid (1-2) = number of births between the two censuses.
- In (1-2) = the number of deaths between the two censuses. The difference between them is a natural increase.
