Exempt from foreign short-stay visas to enter the Schengen territory.. nationals of Member States of the EU or the European Economic Area or Switzerland

European Regulation No. 539/2001 exempts a number of nationalities of short-stay visas to enter the Schengen territory.

In case you are a national of an EU member state (other than France) or the European Economic Area or Switzerland, or of the family of a national of the European Union or the European Economic Area or Switzerland is France Member State, certain provisions apply to you of the Act of Union European:

* Not subject to nationals of Member States of the European Union or the European Economic Area or Switzerland for a visa and stay whatever the length of stay;

* A subject's family members nationals of Member States of the European Union or the European Economic Area or Switzerland (spouse, minor children or dependents, parents dependents) to navigate the same regime as the other foreigners of the same nationality.
